An attendance strategy that doesn’t become another program to manage

No new program for teachers to manage

Attendance continues in the system teachers already use. ClassBank handles the student payments automatically.

A Tier 1 attendance incentive for every student

Every student has an immediate, tangible reason to show up – and experiences the connection between attendance and earning.

Track schoolwide participation, monitor attendance trends, and identify the students and groups who may need additional support.

Money, not points

Why paychecks work differently than points

Students don’t simply collect points. They earn ClassBank dollars, save toward goals, make spending decisions, and manage their own accounts.

Attendance becomes part of a schoolwide economy that builds real-world financial skills throughout the year.

Questions administrators ask

The practical details to consider before bringing Automatic Attendance Payments to your team.

Do teachers have to do anything differently?
No. Teachers take attendance the same way they do today. ClassBank reads the attendance record and sends the payments – there is no second system for teachers to open, update, or remember.
Which student information systems does this work with?
All of them. Our attendance integration is SIS-agnostic because it runs on a simple daily file delivered over SFTP – it doesn’t matter whether your district uses Infinite Campus, eSchool, PowerSchool, or anything else. We’ll work directly with your tech team to map your data to our format and get the connection set up, so there’s no heavy lift on your end. Once it’s running, your SIS drops a daily attendance file to us over SFTP and everything flows automatically.
Who decides how much students earn?
Your team does. Administrators set the payment amount for the school and choose whether students are paid once per day or by class period. One note: the by-class-period option depends on how your SIS is structured and what attendance data it can provide. Some systems track attendance by period and others only at the daily level – we’ll confirm what’s available with your tech team during setup.
What counts as “present”?
ClassBank pays students based on the attendance status recorded in your system.
Does this replace our Tier 2 and Tier 3 attendance work?
No. Automatic Attendance Payments are a universal Tier 1 support – every student, every day. Students who are chronically absent still need the hands-on outreach your team already does; this is meant to give your Tier 1 a daily, visible reinforcement and to make it easier to see who to follow up with.
How much work is it to turn on?
Our team works with your tech team from start to finish – rostering, payment amounts, and teacher onboarding included. Schools are typically fully operational within two weeks.
Is student data secure?
ClassBank is FERPA and COPPA compliant. Student data is encrypted, never sold, and accessible only to authorized school personnel.

See what happens when showing up literally pays off.

“Even our most chronically absent students are showing up. And it’s not for their grades. They’re coming because of ClassBank.”
